It’s crunch time!
We are 20 days out from early voting (June 12-20) and 30 from election day (June 22)! Remember, the June 22 City-Wide Primary Election is when we can transform NYC! This is when we can vote for candidates who will #defundthepolice, #fundNYCHA, invest in our communities, desegregate our schools and more! Because things are rolling quick, here’s a few important dates to remember:
05.28 Last Day to Register to Vote
06.07 Recommended Last Day to Request Your Absentee Ballot
06.22 Last Day to Postmark/Deliver to BOE Absentee/Mail-in Ballot
06.12 - 06.20 Early Voting for Primary
06.22 Primary Election Day
But don’t feel like you’ve got to go it alone, Soft Power Vote has got your back! Our voter guide will be launching the first week of June. We’ll be ranking every office, including the entirety of City Council and we’ll even include District Leaders, Judicial Delegates, and Civil Court Judges… remember those? Yeah, they’re back!
This week is also #ONEYEARLATER, a remembrance of the murder of George Floyd and our continued fight for justice and accountability. More below.
